Welcome to Travel Vault. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Travel Vault mobile application (the "App") and any related services provided by Travel Vault ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Travel Vault, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Travel Vault is a mobile application designed to help travelers verify their passport status, store important travel documents securely, access U.S. Embassy contact information, and receive AI-powered assistance during travel emergencies. The App offers both free and premium subscription features.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Premium Subscription

Travel Vault offers a premium subscription ("Premium") that provides access to additional features including secure document storage, AI crisis assistant, and family coordination tools.

4.2 Pricing and Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly ($6.99/month) or annually ($69.99/year). Prices are subject to change with notice. All payments are processed through the app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) from which you downloaded the App.

4.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription through your app store account settings.

4.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by the respective app store according to their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent documents
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Share your account credentials with others

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its content, features, and functionality, is owned by Travel Vault and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of any documents or content you upload to the App. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Important: Travel Vault provides informational guidance only. We are not a legal service, government agency, or emergency service. The passport verification guidance is for informational purposes and does not guarantee your passport status. Always verify directly with official government sources.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRAVEL VAULT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Travel Vault and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
